The training continues...

I bet you were wondering if I was going to report this week? Maybe? Oh, all right.

I started good last week.
Monday I ran 3.5 miles in the morning and then another 2 with Kiah in the evening.
Tuesday--nothing
Wednesday--3.5 miles with Kiah. She did really good and only stopped to walk for a very short time twice.
The rest of the week--zilch, nada, oh, boy are we in trouble!

Here is the good news, I'm doing much better so far this week.
Monday--4.5 miles with Nathan.
Today--4 miles with Kiah. She was struggling toward the end, but I kept pushing her on. I think we stopped to walk for 1 or 2 minutes at the end of each mile. Not bad for her second week of training. The jury is still out on whether or not she will be doing the 1/2 marathon with us. I just don't think she has enough time, but we are not giving up yet.

I actually tried a new recipe last week. Sweet and Sour Meatballs. I'll take a picture of the left overs tomorrow at lunch and blog about the recipe tomorrow night. Yay! A recipe! Til then, good night.

good luck with your running! I need to start, but since the knees are bad, I suppose walking will be more my speed. Keep it up!
