Week 3 Report

I added the training schedule to the side menu so you can bug me more often. So far my friend Laura is the only one pestering me about actually doing my training. :) Thanks Laura! Here is the report for Week 3.
Black--Planned
Red--What I did
Blue--Ipod song that stuck out during the run.
Monday--Easy Run 40 minutes  Missed
Tuesday--Pilates for Core Strength and Speed workout I did the Pilates, missed the speed run.
Wednesday--Rest day
Thursday--Easy Run 40 minutes Missed
Friday--Pilates and Bike ride I did the Pilates, missed the bike ride.
Saturday--Long run 5 miles yay! I did this. It hurt because I didn't run all week and I made the mistake of running the last 2 miles uphill. My hips are screaming in pain, but I moved my body 5miles in an hour. I walked 1/2 a mile to get warmed up, ran the next 2 without stopping and then ran/walked the next 2 1/2 miles. It was not pretty, but I finished. The first complete song was Declaration by David Cook, and then I succumbed to the "just keep moving" mantra in my head and all music moved to the background. By the end Hate by Plain White T's came on. It made me laugh because that is how I felt about running at the end of a 2 mile incline. "love, love, love love love love...Hate is a strong word, but I really really really don't like you."

Good Job! Love the side bar. Maybe I will try keeping up with you! Or just start training to walk straight!

Awesome! Way to get your long run in! Mine was tough last week too because I only ran once before that, but still glad I finished. Thanks for posting the songs too, I'm always looking for new ideas!
