Yeah, yeah, I know. My last few meals have not been on the healthy side of things. All the rain and gloomy days put me in a mood for the quick and easy. I also didn't feel up to fighting with the kids on trying to eat healthier. The funny thing is that I don't feel like our "healthier" choices of meals are extreme in any way. I think the meals look normal. I haven't tried to make them eat oatmeal every morning (which I love by the way) or but bee pollen or flax or whatever other supplements into everything we eat.
My main goal is to get them to eat a wide variety of vegetables, fruits, good proteins and those "good" carbs we hear so much about. It is a learning experience for me everyday, and now that the sun had come out once again I'll get motivated once more.
I also haven't reported on my running in a while. I'm doing it. My distance is not up to where it should be for the training schedule for the 1/2 marathon, but I am doing 10 minute miles consistently on my weekday 4 mile runs. That makes me happy so I'm going with that positive bit. I'm praying for a sunny Saturday so I can finally get a long run in.
What do you do for exercise? What do you enjoy the most?

I've been meaning to ask....are you running the Country Music 1/2? I finally decided to do it and signed up about a month ago. Would love to see you there!
