I am so proud of myself! I just got back from the gym where I ran 3 miles in 31 minutes and then biked 6.6 miles in 20 minutes. I am tired and need a shower really bad! But today's workout helped me reach my mileage goal this week. Between the running and biking this week, I logged 16.6 miles which was actually more than my goal. It helps that I go with a friend who always does one more mile than I had planned on doing. I have to keep up! I now have 53/100 miles before the end of the year. With 5 full weeks left I should be able to make this easily. The friend I went to the gym with finished her 100 today, how cool is that?!
I apologize for the lack of recipes this month, but my novel is going really well. I'm at 47,000 out of the 50,000 needed for Nanowrimo. The story is progressing nicely and I think I will have something worth working on when the month is over. I know it is still really rough and will need A LOT of work, but it is very exciting to see the story unfolding. Thanks to everyone who has asked about the book and encouraged me to keep going, that means a lot to me.
