Apologies

Sorry that I disappeared last week. I had something like the flu. It wasn't full blown, and I suspect that it was just a side effect from getting the flu shot, but all I did Thursday and most of Friday was sleep. I didn't do any cooking, so I have some carry over items that I can make this week. Otherwise, the menu is going to be very simple and cheap this week in preparation for all the big time cooking next week! Mmmm, yummy!


Menu for this week:
1. French Toast
2. Spaghetti, french bread and salad
3. Calzones
4. Chili Dogs
5. Chicken Rice casserole
6. White bean and greens soup
7. Tacos


I am sitting here, already dressed in my exercise clothes. I did not make my goal of 12 miles last week, in fact I didn't get even one mile in! Sad, but I am ready to go this week, and as soon as I'm done here, I am heading to the gym. I need to get back in the habit if I plan to eat to my hearts content next week. :) Actually, my second goal is to eat what I want, but listen to my body and stop eating when I am no longer hungry. Thanksgiving is the hardest time of the year to do that, but leftovers are always on hand.
